The Indonesian Esports Management or better known as PBESI has just released a complete list of trainers for the Indonesian Esports national team who will compete in the 2023 Sea Games which will be held in Cambodia. This process is quite different from the selection of coaches for the Indonesian esports national team who use open qualifications.

Of the 9 numbers of esports matches in the 2023 Sea Games, it is likely that Indonesia will only participate in a few esports branches. Judging from the names of the coaches, the esports branches that will be selected are male and female Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Valorant, PUBG Mobile both solo and team, and also Cross Fire.

Quoted from the Garudaku.esi Instagram upload, there are exactly 6 match numbers that are followed, and details for each coach for the match number are also attached in the following post.

“Here is the list of coaches selected by the Indonesian National Esports Team for 6 match numbers at the 2023 SEA Games!

The six match numbers will be submitted by PBESI to Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia for final review before being included in the 2023 SEA Games.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Male) = Bjorn Ong a.k.a Zeys

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Female) = Tasia Eda Lestari a.k.a Tazy

PUBG Mobile (Squad 1) = Steven Valerian Danilo a.k.a S1NYO

PUBG Mobile (Squad 2) = Jendra Wahyudi a.k.a CAPT

PUBG Mobile (Solo) = Robby Mahardika Saputra a.k.a NATIC

Valorant = Baskoro Dwi Putra a.k.a roseau

The coaches on duty have gone through a selection process for 2 months and have conducted interviews at least twice with various components of the national team.

Good luck to all the trainers selected! Give the best for Indonesia!🇮🇩

Unite your voice and give full support to the Indonesian Esports National Team!”

In the last year, Indonesia was able to carve pretty good results in a number of competitions. For team Free Fire and PUBG Mobile, Indonesia managed to get gold. For Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Indonesia won silver after being defeated by the Philippines. Whereas in the Cross Fire branch which will also be participated in the 2023 Sea Games later, Indonesia can secure bronze.

For the Sea Games 2023 Cambodia, hopefully Indonesia can win more gold with more careful preparation this year.
